4 new permits at the RRC today for the "Reeves" unit in Panola county - two pairs of CV stacked lateral wells.  

These are 11.5 miles SE of Carthage, probably near Anadarko's stuff.  

Interesting to follow, clearly at depth for liquids

My memory chips may be rusty but I recall something about Samson setting out to drill stacked CV in Harrison County several years ago... before the HA knocked them off that track.  Interesting where they are in Panola Co., too. 

They are also drilling about 10 miles se of carthage. Twomey heirs, Knight Strong and Hancock Smith gu.

Does anyone know if Samson started the Knight Strong well?

I saw where they have finished drilling the Hancock Smith. Anyone know about completion plans

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
