Yea!!! SONRIS listed this one today 4/14/10 at 28,029 mcfd! The actual location is directly behind the Encana office on Hwy 786 (north side of the highway) in the northeast/central part of the parish. Completed 2/18/10 (total depth 16730'), 32/64 choke. This appears to be in the class of the excellent wells in the NW part of the parish near the Caddo and Desoto parish lines (and even better than most).

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of) nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
