Oklahoma grl,

Maybe Les B can add more, he has been so kind and helpful in sharing his knowledge. We are in T13N R8W.  Our lease with Encana/Pride expired in early February and the landman I talked to informed us there is no budget currently allocated for re-new.  Best of luck.

OG, EnCana and others have pulled back from the southeastern corner of the play area so I would expect your leases will be allowed to expire.

Les, I would think that the 3D seisemograph being done by CGG Veritas of this area would

open leasing and drilling back up.  What do you think concerning this?

TS, you may be right if the new seismic data helps EnCana overcome the issues associated with the less than stellar drilling results in the area.
Hi ok girl, things are slow here right now, we thought things were picking up a couple months ago when the pad was being built. we have been told that some leases in 26 are being renewed by encana and they will be back to drill here. so keep your fingers crossed!
BJ, that is great news.  Hopefully that indicates EnCana has been doing some additional evaluation.
Thank you guys for the info. Although disappointing it is what it is. If it is meant to be it will happen. Hope to hear from you guys soon. Thanks a bunch!!!!
Our lease had an option to renew by 4/1/11 & they renewed today (3/31). We have several parcels & I know they didn't renew all of them (One is in SE part of play). Will post what T & R renewal took place in when available.
Thanks BLZBUB for the info. I haven't heard anything yet on ours. Who knows.. Seems like the economy is still suffering so may be a while before anything has a chance of happening with our land. Anyway you guys keep me posted and thanks a bunch!!!!
Encana renewed in T12N & T13N; R9W north of US 71/84.

BLZBub,

What section is your land in (T12N, R9W) that Encana just renewed? We live in Sec. 22, T12N, R9W on the Hickory Grove Rd. We have some other parcels, also. Last summer, Encana chose not to extend the lease on some of the other acreage, so it expired (off the Mt. Olive Road in Sec. 11, T11N, R9W.) Thanks.

Our land is T12N  R9w sec. 25 and 36. I still haven't heard anything about renewing our lease. We are leased with petrohawk so idk. Maybe we will hear something soon. Thanks
