We will get back $5000 less than we would have because of our land bonus! According to the IRS they passed a bill that says if you get more than 2700 in "investment" money which is how they count land rents(bonus), then you don't need EIC. All you can do is contact your local represenative and complain in hopes that enough people will do the same and Obama will overturn this bill. How many other people are out there like us who depend on that refund check to survive? This is a warning for those folks because I tell you we were shocked today when we filed our taxes and got $5000 less after they added the W-2 for the land bonus. Yall call that represenative and complain. Anybody with further info on this please respond.
