Had a call yesterday from Centerpoint asking permission to be on our land to survey for pipeline. We're in S25 T12N R9W. Encana has surveyed for a couple of pads in this area, don't know if that is what this is about or not. Anyone know? (Guess I should have asked them when I had them on the phone.)

BJ, I believe EnCana/Shell have an agreement with Centerpoint Field Services in your area. If this is true then Centerpoint will be installing the gathering lines to the well locations.

Thank you M.J.C. for your answer about the Breedlove well. You are right about where it is located. We drove over today to take a look at it and it is on the north side of Mt. Zion Cemetery. It was not where I thought it was.

Also the flags for what I guess will be a pipeline are a little to the south of my property. Looks as if they may be on property belonging to Hill. That is all the information that we got today. Thanks again.

Hi Bet,
The pipeline I described is already in progress. It goes pretty much due east from the well site. A couple weeks ago there was quite a bit of 8"x.250" wall pipe laid out in the right-of-way, but the equipment had been pulled out. You cannot see it from the Breedlove road. Maybe they plan on waiting until it drys out some.

Update: 2-21-2010
Some pipe has been buried, but the right of way does not go any farther than where they stopped a few weeks ago.
