Many Leases---Marthaville Road area

Has anyone heard of any leasing in the Marthaville Road area closer to Many? Also, is anyone aware of anyone approaching the oil companies instead of vice versa?

My parents live in that area. My dad stated that they had formed a large group with around 1000 acres or so and had chosen someone to represent them. That was just last week so at this time I don`t have any more info,
