Further comment -- the past two days I have had the occasion to speak with a law firm and a stock broker, both in Mansfield. Both tell me that leasing activity in Sabine is drying up. No reason given. Have made further inquiries with the law firm, but no answer yet. Remember, this is the internet -- biggest known rumor source in the known world.

I will pass on what I learn.
May be same law firm, but our attorney in Mansfield said that Chesapeake told him they were pulling out of Sabine Parish. Since they were doing most of the leasing, that would be a slow down.
No leasing offers so far, but a major company is sending in what they call a separator crew. That is encouraging. PAG
what is a separator crew?
According to my info., (and don't all you oil men laugh!) a separator crew comes in to separate all the various fluids and so on that come out of a well. But I know for a fact that a crew is coming in. No sure enough to tell you where they are going, but some were here (in Parish) last night, and more are scheduled to arrive. PAG
Separator crew for which well?
I asked which well. The person said it was "around Negreet." I next asked if it was the Donner well. Answer was, "I think so." So you know all I know about which well. But there are trucks bearing the company's logo parked at the Donner well. That particular company does many thing in the oil business. pag
Patricia Ross-Glisson -- Back in June there was a report of a Shell well near Negreet and Florien that had been flow tested at 7 or 8 Mmcfa -- production both from the shale and from the Bossier sand strata. Would this be the Donner well?

Thanks for the response... it's information that helps us in dealing with the O&G companies.
No. The Donner just started turning right about last Monday and will be several more weeks in drilling. That report in June was confusing. CEO of Petrohawk said "southern edge of Sabine Parish" meant southern edge of the Haynesville Play IN Sabine Parish. He was referring to the Olympia well. It was perforated and fraced in two formations. Serial No. 236842
This Donner well, is this the well that is being drilled on the Kites landing road.
Yes. It is being drilled on Kites Landing Road or close to it. I am not sure of the exact location but it is referred to as Kites Landing.
i have 131 acres North of Olympia Well.

Does anyone know if drilling is projected in this section.
