Ken, just checking to see if you have leased your property under the water - the Sabine Parish clerk of court office is still a behive of activity - have you heard of new leases?

They are not quite there yet. I have been approached by some indivduals wanting to purchase 1/2 minerals but no company yet. Northern Natchitoches is warming up and Skip was right, it will be slow and deliberate. We just do not need any poor wells to show up in T-7. The rest of this year should be interesting. Also pay attention what goes on in North Sabine County. Hard to say what the activity is in the clerks office is but you are right...a lot of activity.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
