Heard a rumor that Negreet area will be another hotspot for leasng and was wondering if anyone else has heard anything about this?

The Negreet area is generally located in far southwest 6N - 11W and 12W reaching southward into 5N - 11 & 12W. There are a number of leases being filed by multiple companies in those same ranges in 7N. There are only some rights-of-way agreements filed recently in 6N. If the shale related leasing ever gets as far south as 6N and 5N, it will take a while. If it ever goes that far south.

I post the Clerk of Court filings for Sabine Parish on the Sabine Group Page whenever I run across them. It's the best way to find reliable evidence of leasing.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
