A friend received a notice of a hearing (if requested) on April 26 in Natchitoches about a pre-app for S-7  T-7   R-13W - her land is in T-6 - is it policy to notify surounding land owners of a unitization area?

The IP (Interested Party) list required with unit applications is supposed to include all mineral and surface owners of record within the proposed boundary of the drilling unit and those outside the boundary to a distance of 1000'. This will be the first HA Drilling & Production Unit in any 7N township. Shaleeee do you know what company is making the unit application?
I will check with friend tomorrow but I am pretty sure it is Forest Oil - but will let you know for sure tomrrow night.
Shaleeee, I am sure it is probably Forest since they have already permitted a well in that section.

Forest, Olympia Minerals 7 #H1 Well, Serial #241002, S7-T7N-R13W
Forest is the company requesting the unit application
does anyone know the physical location of the 7 7 13w well. thanks
does anyone know approx distance from 7 7 13w across lake to Endeavor Hall no. 1 location in Tx. just north of FM 276/ Carter's Ferry Rd. Also, can anyone provide link to La. township map site for future ref. I live in tx. and have mineral int. in T5N near where Hwy. 191 crosses Negreet Creek/ Bay. Thanks.
Frank, it would be 7-8 miles NE of the Hall location, I think. See the attached plat for a better look.
Thanks jffreel, but I didn't get attachment?
Frank, look at the Sabine parish wells map and enlarge it. Does look to be 6-8 miles N/E
Thanks ken. Still wish I had a site showing township, section, and range.
