Exxon Mobil proposed new units (3) ...sect. 17 HA RA SU 99, sect. 28 HA RA SU 90, sect. 33 HA RA SU 91...This comes from DENNIS, BATES & BULLEN, LLP , Attorneys in Baton Rouge . This being in the Converse Field.

How many sections are unitized in this township and is section 30 one of them?
27. Yes, it's a Chesapeake unit.
Thanks for the info. I'm assuming there has been no drilling in this township since I haven't read anything to the contrary. Is this also true?
No wells. Permits to Chesapeake in S6 & 7 and Petrohawk in S13, 24 & 34.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
