Can someone please tell me the total acreage of this drilling unit, or where I may possibly find this info online?

Last info I received was a 31MAR2009 notice of a proposal from Eagle Oil & Gas to reduce this unit to 1566 acres.

I recently got a DO from XTO Energy and their calculation of my decimal interest is way too low – less than 1/3 of what I calculate. I have a survey plat copy which includes my property from the Court House from which I can calculate my acreage, and a copy of my mineral lease with my royalty fraction. I would like to know for sure what the unit acreage is before I call XTO Energy to try to find out why their calculation is so far off.

HA RA SUE includes all or parts of Sections 8, 9 and 10 - 9N - 14W and the unit encompasses 1566 acres.  Yes, that will greatly reduce your decimal interest in each well's production but it will also make you eligible for royalties from approximately 19 HA unit wells.  If the Bossier is also productive, which seems likely at this point, make that 38 wells.

Thank you for the fast reply and confirmation of 1566 acres. That is the unit acreage that I used in my calculation, so there must be some confusion at XTO Energy about my acreage and/or lease royalty fraction. I’ll have to call them and try to get this straightened out.

Varice,

Here is a link to survey plat for HA RA SUE Converse field dated 11-16-10. It shows unit has 1527.65 acres.

Fantastic! Thanks a million FXEF for the link.
