Updates come on Friday for the rigs drilling. Once the rig is gone from the well site it could still be several months before we hear anything. It was still drilling last Friday.
any news?
That rig spud a new well (Gobi 1H) on 6-14-10. So, now you are waiting on completion, which could be a couple of months out from when drilling completed.
Any word on the Crimson GOBI well that is 1.2miles South of San Augustine. This well is South of 21.
It's been drilling a month. See ALongview's post for a detailed drilling update.
Can anyone tell me why the size of the Grizzly is 118 ac, Gobi is 122 ac and Kardell around 666 ac and others 581 873 etc? Most are over 600 ac. The Kardell was orginally 460 ac and then another 200 + ac was added later.
when permit requested from rrc the original permit is required to simply have miminal acres required by field spacing to drill that formation --the operator can add additional contiguous acres leased to unit any time.the size of unit is dictated by state rules and your lease language that you agreed to and signed.
The Kardell is 689+ acres.
So whats goin on with the rig 453.. anyone know??
Still drilling @ 12790' on the Gobi 1H
