a reliable source says the largest haynesville shale well that XTO has drilled to date .i guess we just wait and see.......
after gas starts flowing, bout how long until we see some definite numbers........cause its flowing as of 10-4-10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Should be about the first week in November.
I saw a new drilling rig standing today close to the Butler Rooney unit. Anybody know which well this would be?
South of it (across 21) might be Scorpions
scorpions is correct
and many more to come because the butler rooney well is gonna blow any well in sa. nac.and any surrounding counties off the map!!!!!!!!
I drove the area and did not see a rig. The Scorpions rig road is there but the gate is closed and I'm certain there was no rig. I did not see a rig anywhere in that area except Encana's A-43 #2. Where did you see a rig?
The rig appears to be a little north of the Butler Rooney not far from the Attoyac River. It looks like a huge rig. Lights up the night sky bigtime.
There is a rig drilling on the EOG-McKinney #1H nearly 3 miles east and Exco is moving a rig on the Wood SU #1H a little over a mile north of Butler Rooney. Nothing reported on the Scorpions DU #1H but that doesn't prove there is no rig there...
The Butler Rooney is holding up nicely.  Currently producing over 8 mmcf per day (8.8 if I recall) after IP of 10 mmcf in October 2010.  16/64ths choke I think.  It appears choking back wells to smooth out the decline curve is working.

Is that a January number or a February number?

thanks!
