D. Gaar, you may have noticed but all the new permits ( since late last week) are showing Carthage (Haynesville Shale) as the target. I think the RRC will begin transferring wells into the new consolidated field soon if they haven't already.
jffree,
I thought that rule did not yet include San Augustine?
It may be optional. Some times a particular field is chosen because it has different spacing rules. The Carthage, N. (Bossier Shale) and now this new Carthage (Haynesville Shale) both allow a well to be within 330' of a lease line whereas some of the other fields still operate under Statewide Rules which would be 467' from a lease line. There are other differences but that is the easiest one to explain.
Thanks
Yes, I did notice that as well.

There was an XTO well permitted for Panola County today as well, but they still kept the N.Carthage/Bossier field designation for that one.
