Exco reported the well was spud on 11/27/10 by Pinnergy rig 4, which did not appear on my report last week.  My guess is that it was a small "spudder" rig and that a larger rig will be brought in to drill the well.  Check back in case I forget to post when a new rig appears.

Thanks Jiffree1

The well site is about 3/4 mile E of CR 229 1/2 mile N of

the end of FM 354 and hard to see.

I know nothing about drilling rigs but it looked like two

rigs or one rig and one crane on the site early in November.

They appear to have two rigs on the Stedham 1H and Holloway 1H just to the northeast of the Ironosa 1H location.  It is not always reported expeditiously when a rig moves from one well to another (close by and for the same company) so, if they are drilling Ironosa, it will turn up on the reports eventually.  This is what the report looked like last Friday.

Anyone know what is going on, jan 1st was 6 wks ago ?

On Friday, the EXCO Ironosa 1H was listed as 50 days drilling @ 15,881'.

Thank you

No Completion report yet, the Patterson #217 Rig

moved off IRONOSA SU 1H to Exco Greer SU 1H early

March.

Anyone know what the current status is ?

Those two wells are on the same pad and the Greer is drilling now.  Maybe they plan on fracking both at the same time but I don't know that for sure.

It took a while, but the Ironosa SU 1H well is finally producing at 16,360 MCF/DAY.
