Hopefully this does not violate some part of the terms of the San Augustine County non-disclosure!!!
I have had a 'plague' of Emails and Snail mails from a multitude of companies asking to purchase all of my mineral rights in Shelby County... most expressing a interest specifically in the "OIL Rights"... the original offers were low at $1K per acre, last week they were at $4K per, however I opened a couple yesterday offering $10K for mineral rights to oil only.
Since I still have not seen anything on our Whitton 1H, I assume it is not completed yet. Devon still leaves me wondering what they found during the deep exploritory phase of their drilling, as well as what 1H will produce at. Now my question is "What have they found in the deep wells in Shelby???"
I know there are a lot of "nay-sayers" who stomp their feet and say nothing is down there, but if it is a bust below the Smack-over(?), why are these people with these company's starting to try so hard to purchase the rights to those depths? And what are your thoughts on what is goings on?
