Hi All, I apologize if my subject is redundant. Im trying to get an accurate picture of what actual Haynesville drilling activity is going on in Shelby. So far I have the following wells:
CHK Harvey #1H - completing
EOG Watkins #1H - status?
CHK Carzenava #1H - spudded
EOG Boles #1H - permitted
Unit/Burk JV has several vertical wells permitted to HBP their leases, will drill H when prices improve.
Unit Petroleum plans well in the John English Survey just to East of Harvey; not permitted; vertical to HBP

Can anyone comment on/add to this list? Thank you so much!

DSS, I had originally gotten the above information from some other source but the following is slightly different information from the Tyler Paper:

Common Resources completed the Red River 877 Well No. 1 to 16,144 feet 2.2 miles southeast of Aiken in the Bossierville Field. On a 28/64-inch choke the well potentialed 7.235 million cubic feet of gas in the Bossier Shale formation.
From June 7, 2009 Tyler paper:

Shelby County

Newfield Exploration completed the Nutt Heirs G.U. Well No. 1H to 10,805 feet 8.1 miles northwest of Center in a wildcat field. On a 24/64-inch choke the well potentialed 3.193 million cubic feet of gas.

I presume this is Haynesville/Bossier.

according to this map there are 5 completed shale wells in shelby county and that is 4 more than the last time i checked it. this is the latest info the TRC has.

Thank you thank you! Im on the TRC right now. Good stuff! :)
King John,

Where did you find this map?
i remember you adam, why do you want to know?
kj
Just curious king john. I already found it though. Thanks for the help.
adam, what did you think about the other maps?
king john
All good stuff. I was unaware of the Bossier stuff going on SW of Nacogdoches.

I like the map you posted because it gave a comprehensive view of Bossier/Haynesville well activity. Hadnt seen one until now.

I hope you arent still bitter over our last discussion. I have let it go as agree to disagree.

Best of luck to you.
good enough adam, i too had noted the shale to the s/w . strange how they show nothing in between.
king john
Desperately Seeking Shale--- your list is correct data---EOG has completed the Watkins # 1 and is flowing to sales IP is tight lip info but I hear for source that IP was a disappointment for the shale with 4100' lateral leg and was not as successful as EOG's Gammage #1H in NNE Nacgodoches county where they have now premitted 3 more H Shales wells\(Hills, Hassell, and Pop Pop) You are correct re units/burk jv in area of Boles#1( which has not spud to date) and the Carzenava drilling now in the 4th week and Unit's local landsman tells me they do plan well in J English before leases expire(date unknow) a vertical to HBP. The Harvey #1 completed drilling 3 weeks ago but I have no info if completion with fac has started yet DOES ANY ONE HAVE UPDATE ON HARVEY?????
