Petrohawk Hughes #1H plugged 9-4-2009 per filings
The following stands to be verified but word is they did not get all the way down to targeted depth. Something happend on the way down.
then Noble Energy filed a permit on the well--says change of ownership?? Not sure what is going on
Noble and Petrohawk have JV on acreage in this part of the county and they probably just decided that Noble would operate this well. I've seen this sort of thing happen in JV's. Fairly common. Or...to really get the speculation going... it could be that Petrohawk has opted out of participating in the acreage therefore leaving Noble no choice but to operate.

BTW RBH, I've not had time to look for the plugging report but what was the TD of the well?
RBH, Can you explain how to find those filings on RRC?
Here's the link to the W-1 Application info for that Petrohawk/Noble Hughes well.

Says that the app is being ammending to show change of ownership as of 9/15.

Hughes #1H completion report filed--test 12.7MMCF/d 26/64" choke Center (Haynesville) --sorry--what was plugged was the vertical pilot hole deeper depths looked at for evaluation purposes
And here's the report on the Mary Harris 1-H:

Noble Energy completed the Mary Harris Well No. 1H to 11,754 feet 2.7 miles west of Center in the Center Field. On a 26/64-inch choke the well potentialed 12.634 million cubic feet of gas in the Haynesville formation.

So both the Hughes #1 and Mary Harris 1-H have come in at over 12 mil. Looks like things are getting a bit more interesting in Shelby Co.
