Corey, I just checked it and the site seems to be functioning.  It was a bit slow this morning.

Are you having trouble with something, in particular, that you are trying to search?

Corey, I use a spreadsheet for well permits.  Since I track many hundreds of wells, linking to frequently used data is faster than having to go pull up each permit page when I want to look at something.  So, I link to plats and completion reports for each well.  Then, I only have to perform those searches once.

If you are interested in tracking several wells it is just easier to set up a spreadsheet in Excel, for example, and create a column for each type of information (give each well a row).  I plat each well surface location so I just link that location to the plat.  In Excel, you can right click any cell and then click on hyperlink.  A box will open and you can paste the url of whatever you want to link into the "address" bar at the bottom of the box.

If you have something other than Excel on your computer you will have to explore the help topics for that program to learn how to set up a link.

If you are able to view the plats, you could also just download them to your computer, if that is all you want to keep track of.

Go to the W-1 permit page for the well you want to see and scroll to the bottom of the page.  The well plat listed IS THE LINK to the plat.  Click on it and the map will appear, if you have a tiff viewer on your browser.

You have to do this for each separate permit.  This is the only place you will find "user friendly" well plats on TRRC until such time as there is a completion packet filed on that well.
