Linda V--the well in S. Engish Survey premitted is the Blankenship Creek Fed # 1H by Chesapeake. It's in the NNE part of the Survey which is a large Survey. What part of survey are your minerals in? You stated that Chesapeake landman had contracted you. What was their offer and what infomation given to you? When did they contract you? I understand they are still leasing in area. The Harvey well #1H had problems with completion and was a haynesville shale well. It appears the bossier shale is better on the Texas side. Watch the Walker Well #1H by EOG 5 -6 miles to the west it's a bossier test it may be some time before any info is released it's tight lipped. This will define this part of Shelby County IMO. Chesapeake also has another well premitted just to east of Blankenship the USA Fed GU #1H. The last I heard was $400-$750 per acre in area 1/5-1/4 Royalty severals months ago. The Walker well is the key it was frac last week. Activity will increase if good before public get IP. If bad activity will disappear in leasing in area. Since you are unleased please post any calls from landman you receive in near future please

linda, can you also be specific as to exactly what part of the county the s. english survey is located.

king john--- the S. English is just East of the John English Survey which is south of Hyw 7--If you have been on the Texas RRC site there is a GIS Map zoom in on Shelby county look SSW of Joaquin along the south side of Hyw 7 and you will see it.
