I need to know if anyone can give me information on how to look up the production of wells?  My family has three producing gas wells on the property, but we can't seem to find out how much they are producing.

You will find instructions on the RRC of Texas Help Center page.  You will need to know the well API numbers or the Lease ID numbers to search for production using the production query.  You can find API numbers by doing a W-1 search.  Once you find the W-1 page for your well, you can click on the Texas Icon found on that page and it will take you to the GIS map.  Then select "Identify wells" on the map tools list, click on the circle next to the well number (last 5 of API) on the map and follow the links.  This has more steps in it to find production this way but it will get the job done.

If you use the API number in the Production Query, leave out the hyphen.  That query will accept a six digit permit number or lease ID (they are not the same) or an eight digit API number.

Thank you, however I don't have the Lease ID numbers and was unable to search.  I do know the name of the well and company, but that's all.  Seems these oil companies keep us in total darkness while they make their profits.  We were unknown heirs, but now they know who we are, but they really don't care. This has all been very taxing for the whole family.  We don't really know exactly what to do.  We all have contacted attorneys, but still moving at a snails pace.

Thanks Again   Fanny "Cricket" Pichon

Fannie, I received a lot of info on these wells if you would like to call me. I am a Gentry heir. I have quite a bit of info on the production figures.  I mailed copies of everything I have since the beginning to attorney in Alex. If you want to email me or call me I will send you copies of what I have so far. Even XTO Drilling Reports you can pull off the web site. Let me know or give me a call. Landman just disappeared again. I havent heard from anyone in a while. Did you go to meeting?
Been out of the office.  I would like to receive a copy of the production figures.  You can e-mail to me at fanny.g.pichon.hxk1@statefarm.com.  I think when Deck Jones withdrew from being the receivership attorney and different branches of the family secured attorneys, the landman just backed away.  What meeting?  I wish we could cordinated with each other to see what direction each branch of the family is taking.  We could support each other.  It certainly would not lessen or increase the amount each branch gets, but may help up secure whatever amount is there.   Thanks,

Hi Sherry!

What is the best well in the Huxley Field?  Gas?  Oil?  Also, location, if you know.  Thanks.

I do not know. I only know about the two Heinschel wells #1 and #2 which XTO took over from Hunt Petroleum. And we are working very hard to acquire more info on them. Perhaps Ben Elmore can answer your questions.  Sorry i am no help.

My mom has some mineral rights in Shelby County. It  is in the P.W. Harvey survey. Her lease expired in July. Can anyone give us any information as to if the mineral rights will be leased again or who could be contact. I would appreciate any info we could get. Thanks!
According to Shelby County records, Cheasapeake leased some land in PW Harvey survey in Aug 2010 and that is the latest O&G document that I saw.  In 2008 Chesapeake recorded about 60 leases in that survey and several more in 2009.  As far as I know, they are no longer leasing in Shelby County.  XTO has an office in Center but I don't think they are leasing in that area at all. You might give them a call.  They finished the seismic survey a few weeks ago just south of that survey.  Maybe it will trigger some interest again in that area. I know several people in that general vicinity that are no longer leased and have not been approached by a company.
