Does anybody know of current bonus rates per net mineral acre in this survey?  Any drilling going on or near Taylor Lands (south 100 acres of 138.5 acres from SA Taylor to Albert Howard).  Would appreciate any info.

Do you have the survey number that you are looking for? I am not finding a Mhoon Survey in Shelby County.

OK, that helps.

Railroad Commission has this one as the T. Moon survey, but then it does say Mhoon actually on their Map. I guess that is why it was not coming up on their search engine.

Does seem to be a few wells nearby and your survey looks to be about a mile or so East of EOG/Ellington-Ellora well.

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
