Maven Royalty 3, LP is offering 28.07 NMA of brine mineral interests across five tracts in Union County, Arkansas, totaling 313.96 gross acres. The interests include bromine, lithium, and other substances contained within the brine and are subject to existing brine leases. The interests currently generate approximately $1,893 annually through a fixed per-acre payment that adjusts annually based on the Producer Price Index.

 

Sealed bids for this opportunity are due October 13, 2026 at 3:00 PM CDT.

$67.44 per Net Mineral Acre (NMA) annually.  Plus a 2.5% royalty.

The royalty rate for lithium extracted from underground brine in Arkansas is 2.5% of the lithium carbonate equivalent. [1]

Royalty Structure Details

  • Percentage: Set at 2.5% for mineral rights owners by the Arkansas Oil and Gas Commission (AOGC). [1, 2]
  • Additional Fees: Landowners also receive a separate brine lease fee of $65.05 per acre per year, bringing total estimated compensation to roughly 3% depending on market prices. [1]

Why would anyone lease if this is all they would get in return????????????????

But you also get H2S!  I'd say that wipes out any upside.  Not nearly enough to live with the rotten egg smell!
