According to Jmac, the meeting tonight is NOT open to the public. There is a possibility the SCC may hold neighborhood meetings.
jennifer i think everyone in this subdivision needs to get together real soon and join forces or we're going to be on the outside looking in.i for one am ready to talk to these people.maybe we can get some of them to come a talk to us. at least that would be a start and give of some ideas on where to go with this.

Can you tell me what fees are associated with this group? What neighborhoods they are representing? Are they in the intial stage of getting people to join, or are they negotiating w/ O&G companies?

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
