I live in Greenwood and we just signed for $19,000.00 per acre and we are paying a 4% fee, however, most attorney fees range above 10% or more, so I feel our group did the right thing.

Which company did you sign with? Please e-mail rentalpropno@gmail.com
the company that was used to get this deal was Fortress Management (775-0001) they are really good people to deal with.
I used Fortress as well and got $20,000.00 per acre in Keithville back in September in 2008. They fight for you and get good terms on the lease besides the bonus. Chesapeake has no surface rights and I have 25% royalty. The original lease is for three years and if they renew for another two years they have to pay me the ENTIRE bonus again. In my opinion it was WELL worth the 4% fee.
PLEASE LIST THE TOWNSHIP AND RANGE, THANKS.
Section 31, 17W, 15 N
Is there any other news of drilling there or any other information that exists about the geology of this township, range etc. how many acres were involved in the lease.
Appreciate you
Are you the one that called???
Yes I hope I didn't bother you or your family. My wife and I have property in that area and we live down in seaside florida and were out of the loop. That is exciting that it went for 19000.00 acre. It must mean that it's good shale prop.
Thanks for your help. we appreciate it.
Do you know Kurt and Barbara Tape in Seagrove??? We have been to Seaside many times. Great place..... I will try to call you as soon as I can been away today....
Things have slowed down tremendously around here as far as land leasing. They are not offering near as much right now. We signed in
Sept. , however, I feel things will pick up soon... The Haynesville Shale is just now getting big on it drilling. It will take some time for it to all come together and of course supply and demand needs to go up...
It is a great place to be today. What do Kurt and Barbara do? work live?
I love it on 30A
