Started this discussion for people in this area to give updates. We have not heard anything but see a lot of activity a mile in both directions from us. Does anyone have any updates or has anyone heard anything.

That's the day the drill bites the dirt. I'm not sure how you would find out when drilling will begin other than talking to someone at the company. Do you know whether a drill pad has been laid down already?
You might check with Les B. to see if he knows whether a rig is already there or moving to that location. He has his own group for drilling rig locations, but I got lost reading it a long time ago. The dates jump all over the thread and it's difficult for me to find the most current information for each drill site.
As exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond.
