Started getting ready to frac 12/15/2010

how long is the frac process?

Morgan, normally about 7 days.

As of 12/19/10, CHK was on Frac State 6, 7 and 8. I would imagine there almost finished fracking as of today.

thank you

No problem. I was given another update about an hour ago. They just finished frac stages 9, 10 and 11 today. Should begin the flow back soon.

Scott can you answer another question for me? I am trying to get information on well # 241183. I called Camterra and they sold my lease to Chesapeake and stated the well was waiting completion, so I looked it up on the Sonris with no updates.  I have interest in both wells the one being discussed and this one I am asking about. Am I a fool to assume when the fracing is complete for sec 21 they will move to sec 22 to compete it, since both wells are almost right beside one another? any input would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Morgan,

I too have an interest in Sec. 22-16N-14W as well and being a working interest, I'm privy to a daily drilling report from CHK. I kind of doubt that well will be next to be completed with all the other sections in this township that have been waiting for months to be completed. I wish I had more information for you but if I hear anything, I will most certainly let you know. On a positive note, I would count blessings that Camterra is allowing CHK to drill the well in Sec. 22 with all the issues they've had in the past drilling and completing horizontals. I'll let you know if I hear anything. Hope you have Merry Christmas.

Scott,

Have you heard anything new on this well. I spoke with someone at CHK last week and the guy said the well has been completed still waiting to be connected to the pipeline.  There is nothing on the sonris for any updates that I know of - any luck your way? (Sec. 22-16N-14W)

Still waiting to hear back on this one too. I'll let you know just as I hear something.
This well is waiting to be fracked as of 3/18/11.
