Anyone heard anything about a new drilling site in Wilmer off LA HWY 1061 and E. Evans Road?

Irma, I expect you are referring to the Goodrich Kent 41H #1/  There should be a rig moving on that well about now.  It is covered in this discussion:

If Irma is referring to a new location that may be it, Wineshine.  The Kent 41H #1 is in the Northwest Wilmer Field, S41-2N-8E. 

The Kent 41H #1 pad is is far from being ready,still pushing dirt.

Thanks.  The two new Tangi units including the one you posted the link to should make folks in the parish feel optimistic.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
