I noticed on the Baker Hughes rig report that ExxonMobil had a rig running in Titus County. Does anyone one know what formation they are targeting? Would it be the Austin Chalk trend? Or maybe TMS?

Just joining this group. I have mineral rights on land between Mt. Pleasant and Winfield. I have been contacted about a lease; waiting to sign until I evaluate. I figure the first offer is low-balled. Anyone have any suggestions??
Well it is 11:36 p.m. and my son just arrived home. It has been 6 months since I have seen him and I have been preparing for his return so I am not current on the activity. I have 2 week's before he has to return and with him being in the military I will be spending every second with him. :) I picked a rotten time to open this site but have good intentions if you can hold on for a couple of weeks. I am just learning this whole thing and have learned a lot just by going on the TRRC site and the county courthouse site. Maybe you can help me learn when I get back on around 8/07? Thanks for the patience and I am looking forward to getting to know you.
