Denham Springs Country Club Well

Any new info on our Denham Springs Country Club Well #1.  It looks as though preperations are being made (clearing land) for the additional well.  I can see the derrick lights at night and hear very little noise during the day.  They should soon be near the desired depth with the well.

The state can force pool unleased lands into units but that doesn't give to operators the rights to drill on unleased property.

I didn't think so which is why I don't understand the people of St. Tammany raising hell about the state letting them drill when the fault lies with the property owner. I won't let them drill on my property in Livingston Parish........

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
