Gatrpaw,

I appreciate your input and knowledge that you bring to this website. I am not trying to start rumors, however, I shared a tidbit with a landowner in N. Caddo. You see it as rumor or fact less claim and that is your own prerogative.

Just because the information is not public does not mean it is untrue. How did Cheasepeake keep their test wells tight-hole?

I do not know any information about you so why would I reveal my contacts? As far as you challenging my creditability, I could not care less what you think about me or my information.

Just take the information for what it is worth. Time will tell if the information is true.

Tom,

No interest in Cass County right now. Be patient and the play may come to you!

Tom,

We now have 4288 acres leased in Northern Caddo and 324 in Bossier. We know that Conoco hit a well in Northern Caddo with about 350 feet of pay. However, up until this point the offers have been in the 4-6K an acre range which is not what the land is worth. Cheasapeake has apparently sent landmen in to the area so it is just a matter of time...

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
