Lithium Brine by county!

   

  First off I tried to post this question in the Panola  County Group but there has been no post in that group since approx 2015 that I found. My question is, has anyone been offered a lease for lithium brine in Panola County? Seems I’ve read in Tatum has some I read awhile back. I know this should be posted on the county post but it appears to be abandoned!

Gale, not every member posts in the county group pages.  Quite often the go straight to the main page.  The county and parish groups were created for location specific questions like yours and for sharing what was going on for friends and neighbors who are similarly situated.  Not using the sub groups for the reason they were created is a mistake but a choice that many members make.  To this point we have heard of no SMK brine lease offers in Panola County.  It is too far south.

Thanks Skip, what I suspected. I use to interact on the Panola group a good bit but lately it appears abandoned. I interacted with several people, a couple I’m assuming may have passed away.

Yes, after eighteen years some regular members have passed on.  Also Panola was developed early in the Haynesville Shale play so there is little to no leasing now.  As time has gone on, some people have sold their minerals and do not need what the website provides.  There will be production in Panola for decades to come but the reasons for seeking input on the website are not what they were in the early years.
