I have land just west of Chestnut. We leased as so many did 18 months ago before the siesmic started. $200.00 acre was the deal then. The siesmic data should be finished by next spring as I am told. The are covering 480 sq. miles.

I don't know what the highest amount has been but we were offered $400/acre by someone representing Chesapeake and we turned it down. We have land in the Ashland and Readhimer area.
