Its been a while since I was last in the Henderson-Mt Enterprise area, but keep my ear to the ground on activity both east and west on US 84 out of Mt Enterprise where I have minerals and timber interests.

Those rigs running between Henderson and MT E are active in the Minden (Cotton Valley) and Brachville (South) Fields. Every week it seems Oil and Gas Operators are completing good -and very good gas wells in those 2 Fields, especially so in extreme SW Panola County. Depth range is around 11,000 to 12,500 feet so they aren't inexpensive, but without question they are paying off handsomely (for both O&Gs and royalty owners)

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
