wow. You are way ahead of us! Lucky that you have a guide too! We only have 33 acres in Desoto and 2 in Caddo. So, small potatoes clearly. How are your being contacted?(email, snail mail?, phone?) Is the land in your name specifically, or your family's? I'm sorry to ask so many questions! This is overwhelming. Our land is in my dad's name-and he wants me to "take care" of this stuff, but I don't always get all the information!!! I noticed you listed your location as Katy-and figured you are trying to learn about this from afar also! We haven't gone to any of the meetings. I think my husband is taking my dad to one next...
