AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |

If you have anything, any kind of acreage in Central or South Caddo parish...in my opine, only...$300 for 1/4 acre is no where near what you need to be looking for,
and do not take anything under a 25% royalty. Ask for what you want from the O&G company. They are in a bargaining mood right now. They can only tell you "no." And, then you can go on the internet and find another O&G and ask that company for what you want. You are in the driver's seat! You will get a higher counter offer.
In south Caddo parish...By now I am sure you have read on this website, per acre, are being offered $10 - $15K per acre/25% royalty payments. These companies that are offering you less will turn right around and resell your contract...and make much more money off of "you" than you ever thought about making from "them."
You have 1/4 acre...You have as much right to sign for what you want to receive as the guy who owns 15 acres!
Go For It alutz!
