I live in Louisiana , have 5 acres in Desota Parrishoffered 20,000/25% for five years haven"t signed yet. But I have mineral right in the Richie survey in San Augustine have a lease for 500 /20% for 5 years with a draft in hand . I called the guy with Elite and told him that wasn't going to work around the 12 of Sept. Haven't heard back from him. I was trying to find out wat most leases were going for in S.A County. Any information will help.

Also you might want to go to the "Talk Shale" section of this website and search for "cabot"......lot's of good info.
I was referring to Southwestern Oil and Gas. Apparently they are in the northern area of SA and Shelby counties.
There appears to be a considerable amount of leasing in San Augustine but no press. Are there any "us against them" groups. It seems to me we should all be organizing.
