littleasy replied to Dion Warr, CPL's discussion EOG Submits Applications for New AC Units in East Feliciana
"Tea or Koolaid? Why are they "dancing" in PCP? Updip most likely easier Stack Play, but downdip greater potential and  more complex geology??? In terms or earlier leases, is time running out? So many ???, so little time."

littleasy replied to Dion Warr, CPL's discussion EOG Submits Applications for New AC Units in East Feliciana
"Any thoughts as to why EOG is "looking" updip, when their first leasehold was predominantly downdip? Time is running out on those leases, and they will have to pay additional rentals to maintain those leases for another 3 years. They could…"

littleasy replied to mudbug's discussion Is EOG selling out of the Louisiana Austin Chalk
"Yes Skip, seems like COP activity in Kirk's LAMS Stack Play area in East Feliciana Parish is the current place of interest. Maybe they will investigate both updip and downdip sections around these Wells. I just hope they are deligent and…"

"Skip, I know you are correct about the big picture. My point about EOG is what analysts say about EOG as a company and their approch. Time will tell when it comes to the LA AC."

littleasy replied to mudbug's discussion Is EOG selling out of the Louisiana Austin Chalk
"EOG economic model is based on return on investment, not necessarily building production inventory. So, price of oil and costs to drill and market will drive EOG plans. Will be interesting to see COP results in East Feliciana Parish, which is…"

"Why no treat it to be reused in the fracking process? Under no circumstances should this material be put into the environment.  Next move for Trump's non-EPA will be to truck it to Detroit!!!  "

Leasing in Pointe Coupee that I know of is for (a) Austin Chalk and (b) Tuscaloosa Trend, but not Tuscaloosa Marine Shale (or TMS).  TMS is probably found across the upper part of Pointe Coupee.  But then who knows just what the leasing company intends?  They may say one thing and be thinking of something altogether different, they play their cards close to the chest.
