Jack Blake's well has been opened since about Oct. 18, 2010 and still no DO or entry in sonris on the production rates.  My GHS contacts have told Jack the well data

30/64" choke flowing at 15 mmcf/d and FCP dropping rapidly.  So far they must owe Jack over 10k in royalties........YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCRIEDJACKBLAKE

Jack,

You mentioned that your lease shared by ECA and Shell, mine is also. ECA drilled. I guess I shoudl expect the same process, then ECA portion without DO, and then wait for  DO from Shell. I did not think about the Shell piece. I was thinking I woudl receive the 1st check in full without the DO. Learn something new everyday.

Yeah, it's funny how they all operate differently.  .......  PXP bought a 20% interest in my lease with Chesapeake which covers our residential lot here in Stonewall (Section 6 T14N R14W).  A well was drilled and completed by Encana in July 2010.  I received a 5% royalty check from PXP a month before I received their Division Order, and I just received Chesapeake's DO late last month.   I expect to start receiving royalties from Chesapeake on February 1.    .....  Good luck with yours!!!!

No DO yet, but I did receive my first royalty check from Encana.  It is for 1/2 of my decimal percentage.  I have been told some companies pay royalties without a DO and apparently Encana owns half my lease now and pays without a DO.

I think SWEPI owns the other half and and I've been told they don't begin paying royalties until they send out a DO.

I originally leased to CHK and if I don't hear anything on the other 50% of my royalties within a couple months I'll send a certified letter to CHK asking what's up.

I sent in the form to have my future Encana royalties direct deposited.
