I picked interest on you after going through your short profile and demand it necessary to write you immediately. I have something very important to disclose to you concerning your surname that's to say your last name .since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on:(timothy.white36@yahoo.com) for more details.
Your ears burn when your friends talk about you. Randy and I did so at our regular lunch last week. You know we are always thinking ahead. On the horizon we see more litigation regarding land/mineral owner rights and the politics of mineral code reform. I'm thinking that we should consider founding a Political Action Committee. At least that's me as I have a little more time to contemplate the possible. Randy, just has to run to keep up with his legal practice. Poor guy! LOL!
i saw the Haynesville special last night on MSNBC....don't frequent this site as much as I did in 2008....still a unleased mineral owner in Caddo. ..is there a site where I can get more up to date on your EXXon suit? P.S. I recently discovered Chris Botti...I like him too. The best of luck & prayers.
Hello Ms. Kassi, Just read about your friend's death. I'm sorry. But, I'm confident her love and spirt lives on as she is now soaring with the angels. Bonnie
Just dropping by to say hello. Have one "shale" of a day. Also, there some new profile questions. Check those out by clicking HERE. We are also coming up on our 10,000th member. Be sure to celebrate with me. Click HERE for more about that.
I have a letter from Cajun Exploration wanting us to sign over permission to do a 3-D Geophysical Survey on our property. I want to add additional wording to protect my property from damages. Do you have any wording I could include as an addendum to my permission? I also want prior notice before they come on my property.
Dear Kassi,
My wifes family has 14 acres in the small town of funston. It is about 1 mile east of logansport .They were approached by landmen from Maverick Land Services out
of Marshall. we recently found out that they leased from their elderly mother earlier this year for $ 200 per acre .Now they are back offering $5000 Iithe yper acre. The landmen talked to some members and they are trying to get everyone to sign by friday. They have gone as far as to show up on a family members job to try to make them sign. They really should be ashamed to come back to the same family after basically stealing the large acreage from their mom. Now they are trying to play hardball and tell them if they don't sign by friday the deal is off the table. I just want your take on Maverick land services.
Boone is going to be in Shreveport October 22. It would make a wonderful blog event. Mike Johnston, our top blogger and a recently commissioned lieutenant, (in Boone's Boone Cam series), would be a fine liasiaon to work with. I think your styles would compliment each other. Mike is also a Pickens Plan Campaign Ambassador.
Kassi, Keep me posted on your group's efforts on HBP. I would be interested in having our 103 acres included. How do I go about getting it included? Also, was Randy Davidson the attorney you used to review your attachments etc? Thanks TCBDS3
Kassi, is Sec. 21 of T15N R14W held by production with your area? I am asking because some friends of ours live on Dalton Rd. and have heard that rumor. They and some of their neighbors DID NOT sign with Sunland when they drilled the shallow wells in 2005. Our friends did sign a lease in May of this year and are concerned because no one has applied to drill their area when there is drilling going on all around them
Thanks for all of your input on the site. I thought you might be knowledgable about lease/bonus amounts that are currently out in the market.
We have property in the Stonewall/Keithville area of DeSoto and have received an offer of 15k/acre from Chesapeake. We have pushed back on this as we are in discussions with some other players. What is your sense for what is market in N. DeSoto at this time? 20K or 20+ or below 20K?
Kassi,
I have a question about our group? We have a group consisting of our subdivision plus about 43 others from different locations. When an offer is made, is it the same for all in the group even though some may not be in as desirable a location as our subdivision? Thanks for any help. -Ann
I read an article from Shreveport Times about your difficulties with Section 28 issues... I'm not sure but I may be in the same section. Section 28 of T16N R14W are we neighbors?
In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of) nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
