Wouldn't it be cool to have a shalebration with each person bringing his/her favorite dish.
Anyway, the corn is VERY easy. Just pull the husks back (but leave them in place) and take off the silk. Wash the corn and season it with your favorite spices. I often use fresh basil and a little sea salt and butter... sometimes BBQ seasoning for a smokey flavor or even chili pepper seasoning when I want to spice up my dinner. Pull the husk back up to cover the corn kernels; tie it with a string and bake it in the oven on medium to low heat for about 20-25 minutes. It is the BEST corn I have ever tasted!!! (Though the husk may brown a little bit, the corn inside should be OK!! Just don't let anything catch on fire...)
We're okay, too! Electricity blinked off and on so fast, I didn't even have to reset the clocks! Hailed here too, but like you said, no roof damage claims, not even a new paint and body for the truck. Just some thunder claps that brought me about six inches out of my seat!!! Glad yall are okay -- Heard last report that Doyline/Sibley might see some twister action, then cable went out.
I heard there were new neighbors. Maybe we'll come out 2nite and get away for a moment. Work is crazy!! Need beer break -- asap!
Keep me posted on bowling. I suck at it, but its just so dang fun! Have a great day (Good Friday) and look for us down the road! --Tam
hi,
this is a great site -- I'm looking for insights you might have on process improvement and knowledge transfer in the oil & gas industry - just point me in the right direction : )
any advice appreciated!! thanks, kristine
I sure don't mind listening to you, fellow, even if I see it just the opposite. I usually think conservative when it comes to money..I think we have blame dodgers on both sides of the aisle when it comes to politics.
Hello, How's you doing? I have not been on here in a while and was just checking in. Working in Shreveport now - have been for about a month. Skipper and I are going to try to get together for lunch next week.
Hey Captain,
How are the balls rollin' ?
Need to think about maybe a bowling get together to give peeps a chance, (if they would like) to donate to the family that lost the young man in the accident , as a group.I know I had several requests that wanted to donate as a group. Holler at me when you get a chance. Later.
A day-go. I had you pegged as a night-go!
I soooooooo want to say something about you having your balls drilled but good taste (of which my Mother tried her hardest to instill in me but failed miserably) prohibits me from doing so!!!
Hey Sonny Boy. So you've been fishing? You had one of the most gorgeous days to fish. Yesterday was a perfect weather day and I was stuck inside the antique shop. Now today it is cold and I am stuck inside at home staying warm!
I have been a good old girl of late. I haven't offended anyone that I know of. Well, there is Mr. Cathaus, but after all of these years he is used to be offended! I think he would be offended if I went one day without offending him.
Take it from me, you were better off seeing things as you imagine them to be, rather than to see them as they actually are!
Denial is not always a bad thing!!
When is your next blog coming up? What, do you want to leave while you're still on top? Like John Elway?

You have been tooooooo quiet of late. That job is really getting in the way of blogging. You MUST learn how to prioritize!
