Lease Expiration

The Devon Energy lease on my grandfather's land, of which I hold mineral rights (along with other relatives) is due to expire in May, 2011.  It is described as: 110 acres, more or less, located in the Joel White Survey A-773 and the Lewis Watkins Survey A-808, and being more particularly described in a Deed from W.O. Keener et us to W.E. Holt, dated November 21, 1923 and recorded in Volume 121, Page 626, of the Deed Records, Shelby County, Texas. Can you tell me how I would find out if this was…See More

Shelby County Mineral Rights Heir Newby

We have the mineral rights to two surveys (Joel White Survey A-773 and Lewis Watkins Survey A-808, but don't know much about what's been going on with them? How do you find out? We were recently approached to sell these rights? What does that mean and what kind of money does this type of thing bring?
