MM, it case you are interested the drilling rig in your movie is Precision Drilling 630. I believe the Blackstone Minerals 12 #H1 well is being drilled by either the Nabors F20 rig or Precision Drilling 425 rig.

No I don't unless its Encana Oil and Gas. I didn't think to look at the rig itself and see if it was a leased rig or not.

MM, great video clip. Do you have the name of the drilling company that owns Rig 630 in your clip?

The info is listed on the Dept of Natural Resources website.
Just real quick you can see them at...
Sonris

Under Well information,
Click on, Permitted wells by Parish
then, enter a date (i chose 04/01/2008 until 08/24/2008
and then choose a parish.
At this point you will see all the permits issued so far in your parish for those dates. Each one has a serial number and you can click on the serial number to see the rest of the info for that permit.
You will have coordinates that you can put into Google and find the location. Hint: The coordinates are backwards so you need to reverse them.
In Google maps you can click My Maps, and create you own map with these coordinates.
Lots of work, but it can be done.

How can we get that map from Google to show other parishes? It is a great map. My sister lives in Red River Parish and it looks like some of the sites are close to her. I, however, am in Sabine.

Thanks.
