Joanne, thanks for explaining all the dots, LOL. Do you have a copy of the agreement that you can post to the site so we can read it? Or a well name or number that we can research?
Burk had agreements with Chesapeake on a couple of different areas... one which they honored and one which Burk had sued them over because they reneged on the deal. This all happened early in the year so, from the date you posted, this is either a new developement or the culmination of the earlier deal.

The Bush #1, API 419-31496, and the Pearson #1, API 419-31487, were both permitted by Burk in July. There is nothing else posted for either well except for a change from vertical to directional on the Pearson well. No completion data and no change of operator or ownership posted (but that doesn't mean a lot because the RRC is so notoriously slow about posting completion data). Right now, today, they are still Burk wells on the RRC website.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
