Darbo. Section 20 was the only section included in that unit application. In 11N - 15W: BP America has unit orders for Sections 1 & 2, XTO - Sect. 5, EOG - Sect. 6 and Chesapeake - Sections 4, 8-11, 13-17, 19-27, 28/33, 34-36.
Darbo, I believe there was another sec unitized with 20 after the unit application was sent out. I think it was Sec 29 right below 20. I don't believe the whole section of 29 was included maybe 400 acres but am not real sure. There has a been a well drilled in 20 and came online 9/22 @ around 1.2 mcfd.
My grandfather's land is the land that you are referring to, Sec 29 right below 20. We have 120 acres there, but I don't know what else is included in it. So out of the 400 acres, that you believe, I know it includes at least 120.
Section 20 in T11nR15w was originally to be a stand alone section unit. However the app was modified to include 400 ac in section 29 ( over the written objections of the majority of mineral owners in 20, I might add) making it an oversized unit of 1040 ac. Well #239478 has been completed and is flowing to sales (09/22/09), albeit with a restricted flow (as are the rest of the wells in this area) which of course results in low flow rates being reported. Also in the mix is the fact that #29 well up-chucked 1,607 bbls of water and the well in Sec 19 spit out 1,560 bbls. Both have cleaned up since then.
Also, FYI, part of section 33 has been unitized in with #28 making that one an 1,100+ac unit. No activity yet in this one I don't believe (#235698).
These two sections (29 and 33) border the Texas state line and are partially in Toledo Bend Lake.
