I have tested many wells there in the Fayettville from my experience most wells after they clean up flow around 2.0mcf per day. The shale seems to be consistent throughout. Every now and then we would see wells test up to 11.mcfd (11.mcfd was near Morrilton) so its not uncommon for a barn burner to be in the middle of other average wells.
Would you know how many wells are currently in operation by Seeco, BHP, XTO. How about north of Greers Ferry Lake in Cleburne County - what type of activity is currently happening?
I don't know the well count, but the web sites of these may help. SWN has by far the largest amount. I would guess that they have half the total, and the other half divided up between XTO and BHP. (BTW- anybody else ever notice that the three companies up here all go by three initials???)
As far as north of the lake, There are a few wells up there, but it isn't as dense as south of the lake. I don't know if it's because it isn't as good, or just not focused on the area yet. It's not as though it's been left behind, it's just not as busy.
A lot of companies go by their 1 to 4 letter stock symbols. SWN and BHP for example. XTO is now a division of XOM but still goes by its old stock symbol.
