I've been tracking a well on Sonris Lite and it says, Fracing stage 9 & 10.  How many stages are there?

It just depends on the operator, lateral length, engineering profile etc. But on the longer laterals there have been about 14 stages, what well are you looking at?
Chesapeake: Dixie Farms 18H, S18-T16N-R14W
I'm guessing the average now is in the process of bumping up from 10 to 12 stages. with plenty of 14 stage wells being drilled lately.
