Does anyone know what is going on at the well site on the old Thompson apple orchard property, in San Augustine., Tx.?

Joann, the rig moved off the location last week so it may still be several more months before the well is completed.
Do you know why it moved?
I would guess that they have finished drilling. The well was spud (began drilling) on Jan. 20 so it has been there over two months.
Thanks. That makes more sense. I thought you meant they just quit drilling and moved. Guess these things just take time.
LOL, well watching is almost as tedious as watching paint dry... just a lot more interesting!

It would be nice to get info on this one and St. Mary's Ironosa as they are pretty close to each other??
They are about 3 miles apart but there hasn't been a whisper out of the Ironosa since the first week of March. I have to guess they are just a little further up in the line waiting on frac. I would appreciate hearing something about that one, as well.
Do you think they are waiting on the pipelines to go in? That could be some time from now...
My friend is a geologist at St. Mary, I will see if he gives up the goods.
