Hi Gregg -

You should be seeing some activity scheduled around 3Q this year. Please keep in mind, though, that the schedules are very fluid and subject to rapidly change.

SONRIS is a great source, but Chesapeake lessors can also get updates on your section by calling 1-877-245-1427. This is the Chesapeake 24-hour call center. These are full-time Chesapeake employees who can get detailed looks at your land, lease and any other information.

I hope this helps!

What do you think of your dealings with Chesapeake so far?
Chesapeake sucks.
Is there anything in particular I could help with?
Why do you say Chesapeake sucks? What was your experience?
The only issue I've had with Chesapeake so far is a constant battle with their agents to lock gates when they leave my property. They just don't seem to think it is as important as I do. I'm saying that for your benefit, Katie. Also, I've bought three locks at my expense and put Chesapeake's combination number on them and they keep disappearing.
Thanks Katie for the info. Haven't had any other dealings with them since lease agreement in march of 08 for 200.00 per acre, only to find out in april what was going on.
Hi Katie. Is calling the best way to find out the timetable for drilling? Chesapeake just permitted our first well in Sec20 13N 14W, Ser# 241241 which is located behind my house. We are concerned about the noise when drilling.
Hey Daryl! Sorry, I just saw this. Calling is definitely the best way to get updates on drilling activity.

Typically, when sites are in a populated area, new rigs will be moved in to do the work which means they are quieter. I'm not sure of your particular site, but please let me know if you run into any issues.
Hello everyone out there.
Can someone refer me to a good lawyer in louisiana who specializes in leases...? help asap...
Hey Spring Ranch - where are you located? I can pass this information on and try to get this resolved for you.
South Caddo Parish, HWY 789, south of Forcht Wade prison. 15/15, Johnson 29/32 wellpad and the gate on the pipeline directly across HWY 789 from the wellpad. The pipeline/road goes to well in Section 31. The other day I caught a produced water disposal truck driver banging on the brand new lock with a 2 pound maul. I asked him what the heck he was doing because I knew the lock was brand new. He really couldn't speak English, but he indicated that the lock was stuck. I made him get out of the truck and walk back to the gate and explained to him best I could that on the Chesapeake locks, which all have the same combination, you must first depress the lock before you try to pull it open. Since he had not been to lock opening school, his solution was to bang on it with a two pound maul. That is probably what happened to the other three locks I've bought. The solution would be to get me two or three Chesapeake locks so when then disappear, I can put one back on the gate at Chesapeake's expense rather than mine. Of course I would put your combination # on the lock. If a person can open a Chesapeake lock in south DeSoto Parish, he can also open one in northen Caddo since they all seem to have the same combination. Any help would be appreciated, Katie. Do you work with Sarie ?????
Hi! Thanks for the info. I've passed this along and we will try to remedy this as soon as possible. Let me know if you have any other concerns.
